Bybee, A ssistant Superintendent, Las Vegas, Nevada Calvin Cory, General Attorney, Las Vegas, Nevada P« G. Martin, Division Engineer, Los Angeles L W. Ashton, Bridge Inspector, Omaha L. R. Maag, A sst, industrial Engineer, Los Angeles 4T. Anderson, General Water Service Foreman, Los Angeles R. L. Adamson, Industrial Engineer, Los Angeles J . O’Bryan, D istrict Foreman, Mechanical Dept., Las Vegas A. J. Scott, Plant Manager, PPB Company, Las Vegas __ Calvin Cary w ill investigate the Question as to whether the LAASL Railroad Company has a vested right in the 2.9 CPS in Well NO. 1 in the water fie ld , and therefore could require transfer of such water right to a new location. In any event, committee is of the opinion that effo rt should be made to transfer entire 2.5 CPS to shop w ell, and does not fe e l that Railroad Company should relinquish any o f it s water rig h ts. 2. Committee proposes to sta rt work as quickly as possible in cleaning out shop w ell and increasing i t s flow. It is our opinion that w ell, when pumped stea d ily , particularly la summer season, w ill produce only ISO GPU in it s present condition. Committee further believes that railroad f a c ilit ie s , including the railroad rooming house and PPX, w ill require a production o f approximately 220 GPU. Therefore, we w ill recondition th is w ell so as to d efin itely determine amount of production which can be obtained from i t . In event PPB obtains it s water from the LVLAtW Company or the Las Vegas Valley Water D istrict, then the amount o f voter required to norve railroad f a c ilit ie s , including rooming house, is approximately 157 GPM. These figures exclude requirements for a ll Industries now nerved by Railroad Company, After reconditioning and te st o f shop w ell, layout and fa c ilitie s required w ill be determined and estimate o f coot prepared, and further report made.
