J. 0’Bryan, ' D istrict Foreman, Mechanical D ept., Las Vegas* A. J. Soott, Plant Manager, PFE Company, Las Vegas, 1. Hr, Calvin Coxy w ill investigate the question as to whether the LA&3L Railroad Company has a vested right in the 2.5 CFS In Well No. 1 In the water fie ld , and therefore could require transfer of such water right to a new location, m any event, committee is of the opinion that effo rt should he made to transfer entire 2,5 CF3 to shop trail, and doss not fe e l that Railroad Company should relinquish any o f it s water rights. 2, Committee proposes to start work as quickly as possible In cleaning out shop w ell and increasing it s flow. I t Is our opinion that w ell, when pumped stead ily, particularly, in summer season, w ill produce only 180 GPM in i t s present condition. Committee further believes that railroad f a c ilit ie s , Including the railroad rooming house and PI®, w ill require a production of approximately 220 GPM. Therefore, we w ill recondition th is w ell so as to d efin itely determine amount of production which can be obtained from i t . In event PFS obtains it s water from the LVL&W Company or the Las Vegas Valley Water D istrict, then the amount of water required to serve railroad f a c ilit ie s , including rooming house, is approximately 167 CEPM. These figures exclude requirements for a ll industries now served by Railroad Company. After re conditioning and te s t o f stoop w ell, layout and f a t u it ie s required w ill be determined and estimate o f oost prepared, and further report mads.
