Dear S ir : Acknowledging re c e ip t o f your le t t e r o f February the 20th in referen ce to capping o f a rte sia n w e ll, and am indeed g la d that th is matter w i l l be attended to at once, as we are s t i l l re c e iv in g many complaints concerning the abundant waste o f waters from th is w e ll. to the fa c t that i t i s almost a year since we completed the con struction o f a temporary s e t t lin g basin which was supposed to be used fo r only a short time o r u n t il we could construct the permanent b a sin and a 24" lin e to the second intake box. This, in my opin ion, should be attended to at the e a r lie s t p o s s ib le moment and b e fo re the sp rin g and summer months a r r iv e , during which time there i s always complaint concerning the q u a lity o f our domestic water system. I f I remember r ig h t ly the estim ated cost o f th is work was to be included in the 1925 Budget andlhe most lo g ic a l time to do th is work would be at the same time we are capping the w e ll. In t h is connection I would lik e to c a ll your atten tion Yours t r u ly , WRB/MC cc-C.H.Mann (S ign e d ) W alter R. Bracken. V ic e -P re sid e n t & Agent. S,J.Osborne
