Los Angle - Mar 19, 19*12 GrFA - On Line & Omaha We have authority under W.Q. 2029 to construct addi­tional wells, pipe lines, eto., for water ..supply at Las Vegas. In making layout we contemplated that we could get along for one year without constructing an additional settling basin, but it now appears this will not be satisfactory to State Engineer. I think it would be advisable, to avoid any possible difficulty later on, to proceed with construction at this time, estimated cost $3,800, and I am sure our contingency Item will permit this without over-expenditure of the W.O. Request your authority to proceed accordingly.
