Dear George: Referring to our conversation in connection with proposed acquisition of the 80 acres immediately adjacent to ground where springs and wells are located, owned by the estate of Helen Nagel: I now enclose a letter from Mr. Prank McNamee, in which he advises us that this acreage will be sold at public auction on January 7, 1941. The description of the property in question is s| NRfc Section 32, Township 20 S., Bangs 6l E. Por your ready ref­erence I attach also a print showing the location of this acreage with reference to our own. There is a well on this property but it produees no artesian flow. At the time the administrator was closing out this estate he offered to sell us this acreage for #30.00 an acre. I considered that price too high, in view of the fact that we would have no par­ticular use for the property other than protection of our water supply; howfever, if it could be acquired for #20.00 an acre, which is the same price we paid for the Hlnntan acreage, it would be a good investment.
