A statement of the relationship of the proposed construc­tion or equipment to existing fa c ilitie s , including fa­c ilit ie s of other producers or operators; show why ex­isting fac i l i t ies are inadequate and consequences if this application is not approved. 3. A detailed explanation of the need for the proposed con­struction or equipment, including a statement of its re­lationship to military needs, war production, or essen­tia l civilian needs. i. If application is for construction to serve a customer, a description of the customer's plant, project or other property tobe served and, where pertinent, quantitative data as to customer's present and estimated future re­quirements for u tility service to the type covered by this application. 5.
