ARTICLE 19. In the tran sp ortation o f any exp losives or inflam ­mables to he used in connection with said work, the Contractor s h a ll use every precaution to see that the same in a l l cases are p rop erly packed and la b e le d and that extreme care is used in handling the same, and the Contractor s h a ll conform with a l l S ta te, F ed era l, M unicipal or other laws and regu lation s governing the tran sp ortation , storage, handling and use o f exp losives and inflammables. ARTICLE 20. In the prosecution o f the work covered by th is con­t r a c t , the Contractor s h a ll be requ ired to use only such methods o f handling the same as are con sisten t with s a fe ty both as con­cerns the C o n tra cto r,. the C ontractor’ s agents and employes and the o f f i c e r s , agents, employes and property o f the Owner, and the p u b lic .in general. ARTICLE 21. Whenever, in perform ing the work hereunder, i t may be necessary to occupy, use or obstruct any s tr e e t, highway, p r iv a te way or public p la ces, or to do anything whatever in connection with pu blic property, or whenever i t s h a ll be necessary in order to comply w ith b u ild in g laws or other lo c a l State or N ation al ordinances, laws or reg u la tio n s, the Contractor sh a ll procure, fr e e o f a l l cost and expense to the Owner, a l l necessary perm its or perm ission th e re fo r; and in doing such work s h a ll be governed by and comply with the laws, ordinances, ru les and reg u la tion s o f the proper municipal or other a u th o r itie s , and the Contractor agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Owner from and again st any and a l l l i a b i l i t y , costs and expenses re­s u ltin g from any fa ilu r e to secure the proper au th ority or to comply w ith such laws, ordinances, ru les and regu lation s or to re s to re to th e ir former con d ition such s tr e e ts , highways, p riv a te ways, public places or pu b lic property. ARTICLE 22.
