Fish: Referring to your letter May 13th, file 20-1 6 3 , concerning proposed use of the submersible pump, formerly used In Well No. 10 at Las Vegas, In your deep Well No. 5 ^ Xermo. Since perforating Well No. 10 we have a large flow, with adequate pressure, and X think It will be a good many years before pumping is required In that well, and with the development of water we have made in the last few months at Las Vegas X feel it will be years before a pump of this size Is needed in any other well. This is a Byron-Jackson pump of late design, not required in Well No. 10, and I think it would be a mistake to allow the facility to remain in storage when there is immediate need for it elsewhere, and that by all means it should be used at Xermo.
