Folger: Z am enclosing herewith two prints of our Drawing £l6lg4y dated December 11, 19^7» showing installation details for proposed 6* Clayton check valve to be installed at meter serving water line to Gounty Hospital, located near tafce-off from existing oast iron line to Clark street at Las Vegas. You will note that I show the distances from the south end of meter to the existing valve, which is a bell end valve, and to the face of the wye branch, from whioh it appears possible to install the check valve by moving the existing valve south* cutting the existing pipe to provide nipples for connections and extending concrete box. Distances shown were developed in the field after the existing valve and wye branch were dug up. I am also enclosing one copy of Clayton Company's pamphlet showing description of oheck valve to be installed. This oheck valve has been requisitioned on LVL&WCo. requisi­tion Ho. 17-C-79 this date and will be shipped within the next day or two. Please install as soon as possible, charging cost to LVLAWCo.
