Las Vegas - July 16, 195^ ¥ 2 6 Mr, L« V, Peart - Omaha e o : Mr, Mr* Mr, W®. Reinhardt B, 1* Bennett R, M, Sutton In line with our conference with Mr* E, 2* Bennett at Las Vegas, on July 8, 195^> an inventory was taken of the Shop equipment and tools on hand as of July 1, 1 9 copy of which is attached, All of the equipment and tools included in this inventory were purchased by the Las Vegas Land and Water Company and charged to operating e;xpenses, the total coat of which was 13,172.91. This inventory also reflects a proposed sale price to the District for this material in the amount of |>2,Q?6,00, which is considered fair and just, particularly in view of the fact four of the items of equipment are new and many of the tools were purchased this year. It was Mr, Bennett’s view that since no provision is made in the Sale Agreement for the sale of these tools and equipment to the District that the attached inventory should be made and the matter taken up with the District to ascertain whether they desire to purchase this material, and If so, we would issue a Bill of Sale and Bill Collectible against the District in a separate transaction outside of the Sale Agreement, This Inventory was submitted to Mr, Renahaw, General Manager of the District, with the request that he quickly advise whether the District desires to purchase this material at the proposed sale price of $2,076,00* If the District desires to purchase this material, would like to have Mr, Reinhardt authorize me to ©ell it to the District for the amount of |2,076*00, as indicated in the attached inventory, or some other amount which I may be able to negotiate with Mr, Renahaw, of the District, after he has had an opportunity to review the inventory and decide whether he wishes to accept all or any part of the material Inventoried, at prices which we may agree upon, W M , R.
