The measuring de- ! vices will be removed after the tests are completed. In addition, the city board agreed to assign one man to conduct an investigation of all ' w ater using devices in the city, (coolers, refrigeration system s, j etc.) to determine whether they \ are equipped with pumps so the j w ater is recaptured instead of j|running steadily into the sewer. The survey is the outgrowth I of the conference called h e r e recently by the public service | commission to delve into the wa-j ter shortage problem. During; ,! that session it was suggested i that a thorough investigation of all w ater uses in the area be i m ade as a basis for determin- ; ing whether o r not m ore strin- j ! gent city ordinances will be i necessary to force conservation | of the available supply to avoid a more serious shortage next sum m er. The L as Vegas Land and Wa- I ter company will supply a man to assist the city in the work. ?o
