MEMO: At 3: P.M. July 12, 1943, in company with Harry Jameson of State Engineer's office, we made weir measurements of the amount of water in Las Vegas Creek being delivered to ranch. We found 2.and 5/16ths on the 24-inch weir that is, .546 second feet, 245 gpm or 350,000 gallons per day. Mr. Stewart who was present advises this increases an additional 2 inches on the weir during the early morning hours. We requested Mr. McNamee to proceed with drawing the new lease, omitting any reference to the amount of water to be delivered. AMF
