The formal ceremony was performed at* 7:30 p.m. Sat- urday, October 30 in the Hotel Sands Convention Hall. Huge arrangements of yel- low, bronze and gold chrysan- themums decorated the im- provised altar area, and the bridal couple stood beneath a canopy of white wrought iron hooded with a matching floral arrangement. The bride, given in mar- riage by her father, was rad- iant in the especially designed gown, fashioned with a sheath skirt front, long, tapered sleeves, and back gathering falling into a chapel length train. She wore a Chantilly lace Mantilla veil and carried a cascade of orchids, tied with satin streamers. Miss Marilyn Berney was maid of honor with Mrs. Bruce Kates, Mrs. David Goldman, Mrs; Myron Roth- berg and Miss ?· Susan Ber- tisch attending as brides- maids. All wore matching gowns of yellow - orange crepe fashioned with Empire waistlines and complemented with matching headbands holding circular veils. The bridal couple has been attending the University of Southern California and will make their new home in the Los Angeles area.
