This collection contains illustrations which depict Native American individuals in racist caricatures, and school mascots and newsletters which include include derogatory language or racial slurs. These materials do not mirror the views of UNLV Libraries Special Collections and Archives, but serve as a portrayal of the social mindsets and occurrences of the time that it was produced.
