The collection contains a lease between Harry Miller (trustee in bankruptcy) and Richard Taylor for a short term lease of the hotel; a certificate of fictitious firm name submitted by Richard Taylor; a press release issued by Harry Miller on behalf of the hotel; and three Moulin Rouge guest register tags.

The press release explains that the Los Angeles-based Richard B. Taylor secured the lease to temporarily open the hotel for a New Year's Eve celebration in 1956.
