Founded in 1957 by Maxine Demick and Bertha Leonard, the Clark County Childcare Association (CCCA) is a professional association of child care center operators. Its original charter was to function as a means for child care givers to exchange ideas and solve problems uniquely associated with child care and to raise and maintain the standards of child care facilities throughout Clark County, Nevada. The CCCA works closely with Clark County and Las Vegas city child care and welfare agencies.
