Gene Collins was born to Gertha and Isaac Collins in Lake Providence, Louisiana. Gene's mother relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1950's with his sisters but Gene stayed in Louisiana with his grandparents until college and then migrated to Las Vegas in 1966. Gene and his family lived in West Las Vegas which at the time was a thriving community due to segregation on the Strip. Gene worked as an operator's engineer at the Nevada Test Site and later trained as an engineer.

Alan Clancy was born on April 05, 1949 in Sidney, Australia. His parents enrolled him in the Shirley de Paul Studio to learn gymnastics, tap, ballet, and Jazz. Clancy also became a soprano singer. He moved to the Rudas Acrobatic Studio and was eventually contracted by Tibor Rudas to join The Las Vegas Dancers. Clancy went on a 2 1/2 year international entertainment tour with that group. Eventually Tibor Rudas offered Alan a contract to work in the Folies Bergère at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Judy Bayley moved to Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband Warren "Doc" Bayley in 1956. Doc Bayley opened the Hacienda Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada later that year as part of his Hacienda Hotel chain that began in California. When he died in 1964, Judy Bayley took over the company and became chairwoman of Casino Operations, Inc.

Steve Round (born 1970) is a military veteran who has lived in Las Vegas, Nevada since 2013. Round was a guest at the Aria hotel and casino when the mass shooting occurred at the Route 91 Harvest festival on October 1, 2017. On October 2, 2017 Round began to build a memorial at Reno Avenue at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. Once the memorabilia from the memorial was taken to the Clark County Museum Round moved to the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign and began to assist in that site's protection until October 10, 2017.

Louis Alfred Conner Sr. was born September 16, 1942 to Hazel Blalark and Clarence Conner in Tallulah, Louisiana. Louis was an activist who gave tirelessly of his time and resources to his community. He was the first African American Food and Beverage Director in a Las Vegas casino. He served as a Commissioner of the Las Vegas Housing Authority, President of the North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, President of the Nevada Black Chamber of Commerce and a board member for the Las Vegas Boys and Girls Club.
