Riback, Steve

Steve Riback is a Detective Sergeant for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. He has been with the police force for nearly twenty years. Riback is popularly referred to as the Kosher Cop and authored a book, My Journey Home, about becoming an observant Orthodox Jewish officer and his struggle for the right to wear his beard and a yarmulke while on duty.

Gang, Roberta, 1940-

Bobbie Gang was born on April 6, 1940 in New York, New York.

Gang married a young future attorney, Leonard Gang, in 1961. Two years later the couple was living in Nevada. She only agreed to move upon finding a welcoming synagogue, in this case Temple Beth Sholom. The couple and their three children spent time in both Carson City and Las Vegas.

Fine, Susan Greenspun, 1945-

Susan (Greenspun) Fine is a Las Vegas, Nevada philanthropist and former member of the Women's Philanthropy Council of the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas. She was born September 16, 1945, in Springfield, Massachusetts and her family moved to Las Vegas in 1946. Her father, Hank Greenspun, was the editor and owner of the Las Vegas Sun newspaper. She was married to real estate developer Mark Fine and is currently married to Max Spilka.

Bristol, Shelley, 1953-

Shelley Bristol is an AIDS activist in the Las Vegas, Nevada community. During the early 1990s Bristol was a legal prostitute in Winnemucca, Nevada. By 1993 Bristol left the brothel and decided to become an AIDS activist. During this time there was a great demand for legal prostitutes' testimony in AIDS prevention campaigns in Nevada. Besides providing her testimony about her experience with HIV/AIDS testing as a prostitute, Bristol also volunteered as a hotline operator with AIDS for AIDS of Nevada.

Morris, Daryl, 1961-

Daryl Morris, born July 18, 1961 in Las Vegas, Nevada, he is one of three sons born to Paula and Bobby Morris. His day job was in insurance, but his great love was for acting. He was smitten at the age of 11 and took acting lessons as a youngster, and later studied with actor Jeff Goldblum. He had an impressive list of films in which he has appeared, including the opening scene of Mall Cop 2. He enjoyed voice-over acting and teaching acting classes. He served in the Navy and attended UNLV.
