Jeanne Maxwell Williams was born August 25, 1924 in Scarsdale, New York. Williams married Ed Wilson, son of Charles Wilson, President of General Motors, and left for Las Vegas, Nevada in 1965. Williams worked at The Summa Corporation as a Women’s Events Coordinator. She kept the wives of golfers busy with luncheons featuring speakers like Ann Landers, and David Frost. But soon Williams married Jack Kent Cooke, one-time owner of the Los Angeles Lakers. She moved with him to Virginia where her art career dwindled.

Stella Champo was born in Moche, Italy on September 16, 1910. In 1912, the Champo family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. The family first lived in downtown Las Vegas, before moving to a small ranch south of the city in 1917. Stella Champo received her grammar school education in Las Vegas, Nevada and matriculated to Las Vegas High School in 1927.

Betty Ham Dokter was born May 20, 1922 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Church was one of the main activities for everybody in school, and she went to every church in town during the summertime. Dokter graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1940. She met her husband at a drive-in and they got married during World War II.
