Brewer, Robert (1928-2012)
Robert Lewis Brewer (June 30, 1928 – April 30, 2012), also known as “Shorty Bob,” was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and later moved to Las Vegas in 1952. He was a long-standing member of Bethel Baptist Church, serving on the trustee board and in the male chorus. Brewer worked for Pardee Phillips Construction Company, the Sands Hotel, and later the Clark County School District. He was also a 33rd Degree Mason and a member of the Regional Masonic Order.
