The alley behind Leonore Aquirre's Hotel, Elko Rooms, located on First Street. The long building on the right was a rooming house, and is now the California Club parking lot. The California Club operated from 1958 to 1973 at 12 E Ogden Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89101. The California Club was sold to Steve Wynn in 1973, and was combined into the Golden Nugget shortly thereafter. Various shops and stores can be seen along either side of the street, along with sign advertisements for Leggett Advertising Co., Sierra Brewing Co., and the Mizpah Hotel. Various automobiles can also be seen either driving down or parked on the flooded street. Included with the image is a hand-drawn map identifying the buildings on the street.
