Bill Willard ends the interview with a little bit of his own history as well as supporting comments about jazz music.

Delaney talks about his time working for Decca Records, interviewing musicians, the RCA subsidiary "Label X" and music integration. In this extended impromptu interview, Delaney shares stories from his own life while waiting for Louie Bellson, whose plane was delayed. He is joined briefly by Bill Willard before Bellson arrives.
