The Ainsworth Collection of Las Vegas, Nevada Memorabilia (1942-1965) consists of fliers, programs, and receipts from Las Vegas, Nevada events and gatherings. The material pertains to the Helldorado, Boulder Roundup, and Little Britches rodeos as well as local plays and musicals. Also of interest, the collection contains a 1942 World War II ration book.

From the Harvey's Hotel and Casino Postcard Collection (PH-00367) -- A collage of the interior and exteror of the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino in Reno Nevada. Inscription with the image says, "Circus Circus Hotel-Casino 'Topsy' the world's largest clown - 130 feet tall and weighing 90 thousand pounds - welcomes all to this new hotel and casino complex in the heart of Reno. A Midway with 'fun for all ages' and live circus acts under the Big Top complete this family-oriented Hotel and Casino complex."

Abstract

The Las Vegas LGBTQ Community Center of Southern Nevada Audiovisual Collection contains seventeen VHS tapes which contain recordings of "Beyond the Rainbow" a Gay and Lesbian Center of Southern Nevada Cable show; the LGBTQ Center of Southern Nevada 1998 and 1999 Honorariums; and news program relating to "Pride Ride 2000." "Beyond the Rainbow" was a weekly cable show sponsored by the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada created not just to reach the LGBTQ+ community, but anyone interested in learning more about the community and the issues faced by its members. Programming explored a number of topics including employment, personal safety, families, relationships, diversity, and spirituality.
