An original townsite home on the corner bounded by West Pacific and West Atlantic Avenues and Gold Street in downtown Henderson. Built in 1942, the house was designed as temporary housing for workers employed at the Basic Magnesium Inc. manufacturing facility constructed during World War II.

At the core of CityCenter is a transportation hub with pedestrians, autos, and tram traffic converging at one point as seen from the 32nd floor of the Monte Carlo hotel and casino. Design for the CityCenter project was a departure from contemporary casino resort property design popularized in Las Vegas.
