The Elbert Edwards Papers (1869-1988) consist of manuscripts, newspaper clippings, and audio recordings documenting the history of Southern Nevada. The materials were compiled by Las Vegas, Nevada educator Elbert Edwards and contain a heavy emphasis on Mormon history. Other items of interest include biographies of Southern Nevada officials, Boulder City Cemetery genealogical records, and reports from the Clark County School District.

The Frank F. Watts Collection of Casino Memorabilia (1880-1990) consists of gaming tokens and chips, matchbooks, and other memorabilia from Nevada and international casinos. The collection also contains items related to early Northern Nevada history including a salt ledger from 1880 as well as a wanted poster from 1913.

The Young Audiences New York, Nevada Humanities Collection dates from 1960 to 1982 and chronicles the chapter’s efforts to bring music education to students from kindergarden through high school of the Clark County School District in Nevada. The collection contains accounting records, performance reviews, grant applications, correspondence, and employee information. The collection also contains performance announcements, newspaper clippings, and students’ thank-you letters.

The Marshall L. Wright Collection on the Riviera Hotel (1944-1956) consists of a disassembled scrapbook, a small amount of newspaper clippings, and correspondence from Marshall L. Wright. He served as the general manager of the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada beginning in 1954 and remained in the role through the hotel’s opening on April 20, 1955. By late 1955, he moved to a similar role at the Flamingo Las Vegas. Materials document the opening of the Riviera including black-and-white photographs of the construction of the hotel, press kits, brochures, and other promotional material. The collection includes a small amount of promotional material from the Flamingo.

The Morton "Mort" Saiger Portraits and News Articles (1960-1987) consists of four newspaper and journal articles about Saiger and the Last Frontier Hotel Casino, two professional photographic portraits of Saiger, and a presentation plaque from the International Golf Club.

The David L. Weide Research Papers (approximately 1954-2000) are comprised of materials that represent Weide's research on geographical issues in the western United States. Collection materials include reports, U.S. Geologic Survey maps, and field notes as well as scholarly articles published by Weide. The collection also includes Weide's notes from classes and research from when he was a graduate student at the University of California, Los Angeles.

The Flamingo Hilton Hotel Records date from 1946 to 1983, with the bulk of the collection dating from 1968 to 1983 and contain promotional materials and administrative records of the Flamingo Hilton located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The collection primarily consists of materials related to the promotion of the Flamingo Hilton including advertising copy and plans, press releases, and meeting minutes. Also included are drawings and plans for neon signs for the casino.

The George Ladd Papers are comprised of a scrapbook dating from 1903 to 1906 that documents the final years of George Ladd, who was involved with the Bullfrog Mine in Rhyolite, Nevada. The scrapbook contents include personal correspondence, certificates of assays, telegrams, mining purchases, bank deposit slips, and correspondence between Ladd and the Bullfrog Mining Company.
