The Florence Lee Jones Cahlan Photographs depict locations and events in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1909 to 1980. The photographs primarily depict historical locations, including the Las Vegas Mormon Fort, the Kiel Ranch, and plaques commemorating Las Vegas’s 75th anniversary. The photographs also depict celebrations, including the Diamond Jubilee festivities held to celebrate Las Vegas’s 75th anniversary, plaque dedications, building dedications, and the 50th anniversary of the arrival of the first mail planes in Las Vegas. The Robert Beckmann Photographs contain photographic slides, prints, and negatives of the paintings, murals, and commercial projects of American artist Robert Beckmann from 1964 to 2009. The collection includes photographs of Beckmann's paintings and murals from around the United States, including works commissioned for casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada, banks, schools, and government buildings. Other photographs document Beckmann's research subjects, models, and art installations.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Photograph Collection (approximately 1900-2004) depicts the development of the university and the city of Las Vegas. The collection includes images of campus buildings, student activities, sports teams, past university presidents, and Las Vegas in the early twentieth century. Early images depicting the surrounding area are included in this collection as well.

This collection is comprised of publicity photographs of Howard Hughes and his aircrafts, from approximately the 1940s to the 1950s, that were compiled by David Rea, former pilot for Hughes Aircraft Company. This collection also includes clippings and technical drawings of Hughes aircrafts.

The JW Zunino Landscape Architectural Records (1986-2003) contain landscape and architectural drawings depicting work performed in Las Vegas, Nevada by JWZ. Casino work includes The Mirage Resort Hotel and Casino, the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino, Tropicana Hotel and Casino, Suncoast Hotel and Casino, Caesars Palace, and Desert Inn Hotel and Casino. The type of casino work performed include creating master plans for gardens and walkways, as well as developing planting, irrigation, and landscape lighting plans. The records also include work performed for parks, residential properties, public and civil buildings, and commercial facilities.

The Patrick Egger Las Vegas Real Estate Records (1958-2012) represent materials from Egger, a former city planner for North Las Vegas and the Clark County Department of Comprehensive Planning, and a real estate appraiser. Materials include new housing development brochures, proposed and preliminary plans for housing, apartment, and mobile home developments, and building companies market studies throughout the Las Vegas Valley. The collection includes physical and digital aerial and satellite imagery of Clark County produced by Rupp Aerial Photography, Inc. and Landiscor Real Estate Mapping. Also included are bulletins, maps, reports of property and home price increases, surveys of commercial space availability, analyses of general growth patterns in the Southern Nevada region. Other digital materials in this collection includes electronic resource guides on real estate and title insurance for Stewart Title Las Vegas and database information on residential real estate sales, projects, and plans created by the Meyers Group.

Oral history interviews with Nanyu Tomiyasu conducted by Robert McCracken on January 18, 2000, February 05, 2000 and April 02, 2000 for the Women's Research Institute of Nevada (WRIN) on behalf of the Tule Springs Preservation Committee. Tomiyasu opens his interview by discussing his father's immigration journey from Japan to Las Vegas, Nevada. Tomiyasu then describes his father's career in Las Vegas as a vegetable farmer. He talks about the process and challenges his father faced as a farmer in Nevada, and the techniques he used to maintain his land. Tomiyasu then discusses taking over his father's farm, racial discrimination the family faced, and the farm's purchasing agreements with local grocery stores. He also talks about the water systems his farm and the surrounding area relied on, as well as the animals that lived in the area. Tomiyasu ends his interview by discussing his mother's life story and his wife and children.
