On March 4, 1975 collector Gregory T. Hafen interviewed his father, Kent (Tim) Hafen (born April 17th, 1932 in St. George, Utah) at his ranch home in Pahrump, Nevada. This interview covers the history and development of Pahrump from 1951 to 1975. Kent relocated to Pahrump, Nevada in 1951, after living in Mesquite, Nevada from 1932 to 1951. Kent was a local farmer.

Kimberly and William King oral history interview: transcript
Oral history interview with Kimberly and William King conducted by Claytee D. White on November 27, 2017 for the Remembering 1 October Oral History Project. In this interview, Kimberly and William King discuss the October 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada and their experiences from that day. They talk about attending the Route 91 Harvest festival and their struggle to find safety and obtain medical medical attention for William after he was shot. Kimberly describes her feelings regarding the city prior to the shooting and how her perspective on Las Vegas has changed. The couple finish the interview with a discussion of life after the shooting, especially in regards to love and community.

Sign condition: 3 - the roadway sign's neon is broken in various places, reader board uses banners instead of cut out letters, sun damaged paint (faded), unknown if still lit.
Sign form: back to back pole/monument sign
Sign-specific description: Double sided sign with graphic of a Roulette table which may have been animated (little cut out holes can be seen on the board). Skeletal neon around word "Roulette" and "Motel" and "No Vacancy" with decorative braid style design around the arch of the sign. Banner used for reader board instead of original cut out letters, possibly internally lit.
