Karen Walker was born February 18, 1967 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She grew up working at her parents’ local restaurant, Hamburger Heaven. She attended community college and graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1985.

Janis Riceberg moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1974 while attending Long Beach State University. She worked as a special education teacher for the Clark County School District for twenty years and began teaching at the College of Southern Nevada in 2003.

Philip Lyle Ulmer was born on May 21, 1939, in Hopkins, Missouri. Philip married Marjorie on June 21, 1959, and they had two children: Douglas Lee and David Lyle.
Ulmer attended one year of college. Ulmer is affiliated with the Nevada Test Site as a security manager for Wackenhut Services Inc.
