I, Chester Davis, was born in Long Beach, California, June 22, 1929.

There was always music in the home. Two maiden aunts who visited regularly, encouraged their nephew to sing songs. He had a good ear and sang in tune. The wind-up "Victrola" was regularly heard playing Stephen Foster and Victor Herbert.

In this interview Cheryl Radeloff discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada to accept a research position at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), then being hired as a graduate assistant for the UNLV sociology department, and finally her involvement with the UNLV Gay Straight Alliance. She also talks about receiving her PhD in 2004 and going to the American Sociological Association Job Employment Fair in 2005.

In this interview Ron Textor describes moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1981, playing with the Norm Geller orchestra at the Sands, and playing with the Al Ramsey Orchestra at Caesars Palace. He also discusses being contracted with the Las Vegas Philharmonic Orchestra and teaching mathematics at Clark High School for twenty years.
