Oral history interview with Leni H. Proctor conducted by Jennifer Blankingship on May 16, 2002 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Proctor reflects upon her experience as a principal in Nevada’s Clark County School District (CCSD). She describes the process by which she became a teacher in Las Vegas, Nevada, and later became principal of Helen J. Stewart School. She also discusses her experiences as a female, and how these experiences shaped her approach to school administration, teacher-principal relationships, and interactions with parents. She also provides her opinion on standardized testing, curriculum changes, and what she believes makes an effective school administrator.

The meeting minutes of the board of directors of Temple Beth Sholom, then known as the Jewish Community Center of Las Vegas, Inc., include the proceedings of meetings held from 1952 to 1956. Also included are periodic reports from committees of the board such as Jewish education, cemetery, and building committees, and budget reports.

On March 13, 1981, Lisa Mades interviewed Sharon Gutzman (born in Winnipeg, Canada in 1935). Gutzman talks much about early Las Vegas, Nevada, including early businesses, the first casinos, and the first airport. She also discusses educations, shopping, recreation, entertainment, and gambling.

The correspondence and newspaper clippings series (1999-2012) contains letters directed to and from the United States Congress and Congresswoman Shelley Berkley, as well as newspaper clippings. The most prevalent subjects of the correspondence are agriculture, education, foreign affairs, health care, veterans and women's issues. Also included in the series is a group of campaign related mass mailers.
