Oral history interview with Gene Segerblom conducted by Layne Karafantis on February 07, 2009 for the Women's Research Institute of Nevada (WRIN) Las Vegas Women Oral History Project. In this interview, Segerblom begins by discussing her family and her education at the University of Nevada, Reno and her marriage. Segerblom moves on to describe her career as a freelance writer and her husband's career as a photographer and their collaborations over two decades. Segerblom also discusses her teaching career and daycare business. Finally, Segerblom talks about her time as a city councilwoman for Boulder City, Nevada, including the issues she represented and the city projects she worked on.

The Thomas Hickey Political Papers (1964-1996) contain the professional files of Hickey’s career as a Nevada State Assemblyman and Senator. Materials include constituent correspondence, voting records, memoranda, newspaper clippings, bills, and research documentation on topics such as the Yucca Mountain Nuclear Waste Repository, the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), education, health, prisons, finance, and Nevada infrastructure. The collection highlights Hickey’s role on committees including finance, transportation, government affairs, and ways and means.

The Holocaust Survivors Group of Southern Nevada records (1965, 1972, 1999-2016) mainly consist of organizational records created by the board of directors and officers of the group, stories about the experiences of local Holocaust survivors, and ephemera related to the Holocaust Survivors Group and the local Jewish community.
