Oral history interview with Dorothy, Alice, and Marva Love conducted by Claytee D. White on February 11, 2015 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. In this interview, Dorothy discusses her personal history and moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1961. She describes the city at the time, living in West Las Vegas, and raising her children there. Alice and Marva, Dorothy's daughters, then talk about their educational experiences in Las Vegas and growing up in the Westside community. Later, Dorothy describes starting her family business, Love’s Cocktail Lounge, on Jackson Street and what it provided for the Westside community. The family recall the entertainers that performed at Love's Cocktail Lounge and the eventual downfall of Jackson Street. Lastly, they discuss the development and changes in the Westside.

Oral history interview with Gerald Connor conducted by James Bonnell on February 22, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Connor first discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada and serving as a pilot in the United States Air Force. He then discusses his education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and his church membership. Topics that Connor discusses during the interview also include changes in the school district and properties located in Downtown Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Strip, his political activity within the Democratic Party, the Helldorado Parades, and the early atomic tests at the Nevada Test Site.

Oral history interview with Bryan Chan conducted by Vanessa Concepcion, Cecilia Winchell, and Stefani Evans on October 18, 2021 for Reflections: The Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project.

Bryan Chan discusses his life growing up in California, his family's migration stories to the United States, and his education. He discusses his appearance on a reality television show which led to becoming a singer for boy band LMNT. Bryan talks about his entertainment career, including his move to Las Vegas to sing and host for the Chippendales show at the Rio Hotel and Casino. He also shares insight into his family's traditions and his favorite foods that his father and grandmother cooked.

Oral history interview with Jean Munson conducted by Vanessa Concepcion, Cecilia Winchell, and Stefani Evans on November 30, 2021 for Reflections: The Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. Jean discusses her childhood growing up in Guam, the nursing career path of her parents, and her decision to pursue an "unconventional path" as a comic book artist. She talks about her education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, her passion for the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community within Las Vegas, and her roles in community activism and leadership. Jean also shares her current pursuits as a podcaster of Bruha Baddies, co-owner and printer of Plot Twist Publishing, and co-founder of the Comic and Zines Festival.

Oral history interview with Vance "Stretch" Sanders conducted by Camisha Fagan and Micajah Daniels on November 11, 2016 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. In this interview, Sanders discusses his early life and moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2011. He talks about his upbringing in Las Vegas, the influence of organized crime in the city, and the importance of church and religion to him. Sanders then recalls founding the All Shades United organization, with the goal of having people of all colors come together in solidarity to dismantle the institutional and structural barriers that oppress the marginalized. Lastly, Sanders describes the impact that his organization has had on the African American community, the importance of education, and dealing with violence against minority groups.

Oral history interview with Sylvester Collier conducted by Claytee D. White on May 17, 2017 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. In this interview, Collier discusses his early life in Dallas, Texas. He talks about his interest in art, joining the United States Air Force in 1951, and being sent to Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. Collier recalls attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), earning a master’s degree in education, and teaching art classes in the Clark County School District (CCSD). Later, Collier discusses starting the Left of Center Art Gallery, and describes some of his art pieces. Lastly, Collier talks about his experience as an African American artist.
