Description
Gamblers stand around casino tables inside the Stardust. Employees wear white long-sleeved shirts and red ties and some type of sash or moneybelt that reads "Stardust." Above the table games, large chandeliers hang and mirrored tiles reflect the people below. To the right, there is the entrance to the Starlight Lounge. From Clarence Ray Photograph Collection (PH-00326). Calvin Washington (far left) runs the crap game at the El Morocco Club on the Las Vegas Westside, the final night before its 1954 closing. Standing next to him is Cleo Johns. Clarence Ray, night manager of the club, is not pictured.
