From the Morgan Sweeney Photograph Collection (PH-00228). Interior view of A-8-9 penstock. Dark spots at 45 degree from vertical and horizontal mark the location of lower set of piezometer taps. Taps locations have been cleaned and repainted. Note wire projecting into penstock, upper right, locating tap hole. Pool of water visible at bottom, tire hoist inside 30-foot penstock at top of raise.

An image of the bathroom in a suite at the Aqueduct at the Sands Hotel and Casino. The exterior of the hotel was designed by Julius Gabrielle, and the interior was designed by Albert Parvin & Company. The bathrooms in the new building featured sunken tubs by the Borg Warner Company, and separate showers with Acrylite shower doors by the American Shower-door Company. Another outstanding feature of the bathroom was the lavish use of silver, gold, green, and white tile from Gladding, McBean, & Company Plumbing.
