Local news segment on Consumer Electronic Show, and the "home of the future" being built in the Stardust parking lot in preparation for CES. NextGen Home spokesperson Paul Trudeau speaks on how energy efficient this self-powering home is; video shows construction crews assemblying the home with the Stardust hotel tower in the back. The NextGen Home representative answers questions about the construction of the home, the interior features, and how these amenities are available to anyone building a home in Las Vegas. He references it being a "smart home" with electronics to set features to turn on/off automatically. Second segment shows interior features of the home, including ways to save space, safety cameras, automatic blinds, and much more. Third segment has an interview with Microsoft representative explaining all the wireless smart display features, and having high speed internet access in the home. Additional segments have more interior and exterior views of the home, as well as reporters presenting from the CES showroom floor. Donna Andress Papers
The Donna Andress Papers (1890-2024) contain the personal papers of Donna Andress, a longtime resident and activist in Southern Nevada. Materials include correspondence and newspaper clippings from the Nevada Welfare Committee, on which Andress served as chairperson during the 1970s, in addition to pamphlets and newsletters from various Nevada historical organizations and committees. The papers reflect her involvement with community organizations throughout Southern Nevada.

Las Vegas Sun Photographs
The Las Vegas Sun Photographs depict significant events in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1948 to 1989 that were covered by the newspaper. The photographs partially document the gubernatorial, senatorial, mid-term, and local elections in Nevada in 1982. The photographs also include protests by African Americans for better wages and renters for fair housing practices, McCarran Airport, protests against the Nevada Test Site, the Las Vegas Strip and downtown Las Vegas, hotels and casinos, political events, parades, dedications of buildings, and aerial photographs of the city. The photographs also depict politicians during campaign events and fundraisers, including President Ronald Reagan; U.S. Senators Howard Cannon, Pat McCarran, Chic Hecht, Paul Laxalt, and Harry Reid; Nevada governors Mike O'Callaghan and Robert List; and Lieutenant Governor Bob Cashell.
