Oral history interview with Jacqueline MacFarlane conducted by Claytee D. White on February 04, 2010 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview Jacqueline MacFarlane discusses her early childhood in Las Vegas, Nevada, her move to rural Nevada because of the Great Depression, her move back to Las Vegas, and meeting her husband David MacFarlane, an Air Force Cadet, at the Nellis Air force Base. She then discusses family life, Las Vegas in the 1950s and 1960s, and the various jobs she held on the Las Vegas Strip.

Oral history interview with Dorothy Eisenberg conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee D. White on March 08, 2017 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. Eisenberg starts this interview by discussing her personal history and growing up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She describes living through World War II, arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1964, and the Jewish community that she was involved with at Temple Beth Sholom. Oral history interview with Daniel Tafoya conducted by Laurents Banuelos and Barbara Tabach on December 12, 2018 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Tafoya discusses his early life in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He talks about his father’s life story, his educational experience with learning disabilities, and joining the United States Air Force. Tafoya describes his career in the military, and being stationed at Nellis Airforce Base. Lastly, Tafoya discusses with involvement with the Clark County School District (CCSD) and with the Latin Chamber of Commerce.

Oral history interview with Therese Thomas conducted by Dennis McBride on March 13, 1995 for the Boulder City Library Oral History Project. In the interview, Thomas discusses her early life in Thistle, Utah before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in approximately 1931, where her father worked on the Hoover Dam (Boulder Dam) construction. Thomas then talks about her early schooling in Boulder City, Nevada, her experiences as a swing and dance band musician, Block 16 in the Clark Las Vegas Townsite, and her memories of Las Vegas hotels and casinos. Other subjects Thomas covers include Las Vegas entertainers, entertainment venues, and women in the music industry during the 1930s.

Oral history interview with Diane Guinn conducted by Claytee D. White on February 12, 2016 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In the interview, Guinn explains growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1950s, and describes her education, friends, and local neighborhood near the intersection of Fremont Street and Stewart Avenue. Guinn describes working in the State of Nevada Division of Welfare and Supportive Services, and recalls events and campaigns for welfare rights that took place during the 1970s and 1980s. She also recalls working with Ruby Duncan in the development of Operation Life, a nonprofit organization that promoted welfare reform in West Las Vegas. Lastly, Guinn talks about urban development, residential living conditions, and politicians in Las Vegas during the 1970s and 1980s.

Oral history interview with Florence Murphy conducted by K. J. Evans on September 04, 1998 for the Las Vegas Review-Journal First 100 Oral History Project. In the interview, Murphy discusses working as a pilot and manager at Sky Haven Airfield (North Las Vegas Airport) in the early 1940s and Alamo Airfield (McCarran International Airport) between the late 1940s and the 1950s in Las Vegas, Nevada. She describes her first time piloting an airplane in approximately 1936 when a barnstormer, a stunt pilot in flying circuses, offered public flights for civilians. Murphy also discusses her first time in an airplane as a child with her father, the grand opening of Sky Haven, and her experiences working for Bonanza Airlines.

Oral history interview with Heather Victorson conducted by Nancy Hardy on June 26, 2003 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Victorson discusses her early life in Nairobi, Kenya and London, England. She remembers being enrolled into the Royal Ballet School, and her experience dancing in show productions for the Royal Ballet Company. Victorson talks about winning a dancing audition that required her to move to Las Vegas, Nevada, dancing in the Lido de Paris show at the Stardust, and wearing showgirl costumes. Victorson describes lounge shows, working topless for the first time, and dancing in Vive les Girls. Lastly, Victorson discusses the future of Las Vegas dance shows.
