Poster consists of photographs featuring various people. The middle photo (third from top) had a piece of paper stuck behind it it with identification of people in photo: "Logan Drola, Edith [Edythe], Deedagv, Teacher Mesquite" (handwriting is difficult to read, names be misspelled). Text printed on back of image reads: "Jews suffered persecution all over Nazi-occupied Europe. Persecutions and impositions on the Jews began immediately following Nazi military occupation of a conquered land in Europe. Their property was confiscated, and they were deprived of their subsistence by being denied the opportunity to work in their professions. They were press-ganged into forced labour, compelled to wear badges of shame. Their honour and that of their religion was dragged in the dust as synagogues were burnt, scared books desecrated, and public prayer banned. Individuals and groups were executed at the slightest pretence."

Oral history interview with Vadeem Volansky, Anastasia Popovich, and Amdrei Skoro conducted by Jan Biggerstaff in approximately 2008 for the Let;s Runaway and Join the Circus Oral History Project. In this interview, Volansky reflects upon his upbringing in Ukraine, his entrance into circus college, and his competitions before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada to perform in shows such as Mystere. Popovich discusses her upbringing in Las Vegas, Nevada, while her father worked in a show at the Circus Circus. She reflects upon having the show animals at home, how she trained for the circus, and eventually worked in the theater at the Aladdin, later Planet Hollywood. Skoro discusses his upbringing in Chelyabinsk, Russia, military operations before the city name was changed to Ozersk, and his entrance into circus school. Mike O'Callaghan Professional Papers
The Mike O'Callaghan Professional Papers (1943, 1968-2004) mainly consist of research files gathered by Mike O'Callaghan in his post-political capacity as executive editor of the Las Vegas Sun as well as owner and publisher of the Henderson Home News, Boulder City News, and Green Valley News. The papers also contain handwritten and typewritten drafts of O'Callaghan's "Where I Stand" article for the Las Vegas Sun, along with his reporter's notebooks, monthly planners, and photographic prints. The research files cover a wide variety of topics, including but not limited to environmental issues; nuclear waste; state and local politics; military and veterans affairs; foreign relations including Israel, Iraq, and Korea; and education. The collection also contains copies of speeches given by O'Callaghan as the 23rd Governor of Nevada between 1971 and 1979, some of which contain handwritten notations.

Stephen Round oral history interview: transcript
Oral history interview with Stephen Round conducted by Claytee D. White on October 25, 2017 for the Remembering 1 October Oral History Project. In this interview, Stephen A. Round, a career military contractor, describes his experiences during the 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada. Round mentions moving to Las Vegas in 2013 and in later years staying at the Aria on the evening of October 1. He describes the chaos of the shooting and the 12-hour-plus lockdown at the Aria hotel and casino. The day after the shooting, Round built a memorial around the shooting site and protected it. Once the memorabilia of that first site was taken to the Clark County Museum, he moved to protect the second memorial at the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign where crosses devoted to the victims had been placed. Along with his preservation of the memorials, Round describes his preparation of a book that was signed by many who visited the sites. Round explains that he was able to see some of the best and worst of humanity during those days of watching and caring for the memorial sites as well as helping any victims, families of the victims, and sympathizers of the Las Vegas 2017 shooting.

Ingrid Ruffin oral history interview, 2024 May 16
Oral history interview with Ingrid Ruffin conducted by Claytee D. White and Stefani Evans on May 16, 2024 for the UNLV Remembers: an Oral History of the 6 December 2023 Shootings project. In this interview, Ruffin shares her recollections from December 6, 2023. She begins the interview discussing her childhood, attending college, and enlisting in the U.S. Air Force from 1999-2005. Ruffin then describes her journey to her current role as Associate Dean at UNLV Libraries, where she was working the day of the shooting. She remembers more than 1,000 people sheltering in the library and walking to Thomas & Mack to debrief before returning to campus and driving home. She recalls how her military training helped her remain calm through the events of that day and the next, but how the trauma broke through on Friday, manifesting as pain. Iona Thompson oral history interview
Oral history interview with Iona Thompson conducted by Lisa C. Krueger on March 08, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Thompson discusses different aspects of life in Las Vegas, Nevada during World War II. Thompson describes the rationing of food and fuel, as well as the increased military presence in Las Vegas and how that affected the city. Thompson also describes how Las Vegas has changed since the 1940s, prominent locations in the city such as Lorenzi Park and McCarran Field, and pollution caused by the chemical and metal plants in Henderson, Nevada. Lastly, she talks about flight and bombing trainings in Las Vegas and working at the Las Vegas Army Gunnery School.

Todd Avery Lenahan oral history interview
Oral history interview with Todd Avery Lenahan conducted by Stefani Evans on November 29, 2016 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Lenahan discusses his early life as a military child, and repeatedly relocating to several states. He talks about moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1999, and founding his architecture firm, TAL Studio. Lenahan recalls doing the interior design for the home of Steve Wynn, designing show rooms in the Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, and making design accomodations for visually impaired individuals. Later, he discusses the issue of architecture firms outside of Las Vegas building communities in the city. Lastly, Lenahan talks about the future of Las Vegas infrastructure development.

Joe Andre Photograph Collection
The Joe Andre Photograph Collection (approximately 1906-1980) contains photographic prints, postcards, and negatives documenting Joe Andre’s life. The images in this collection document his involvement in the United States Marine Corps Band and his days as a touring musician throughout the northwest and southwest United States. Also included are photographs of family vacations and businesses he owned in Beatty, Nevada.
