The Crockett Family Photographs (1911-2022) consist of photographic prints, newspaper articles, and scrapbooks documenting Alamo Airport (later Harry Reid International Airport) and the Crockett family. Photographs of the interior, exterior, and airfield at Alamo Airport, including aerial views, document the early stages of what is now one of the busiest international airports in the United States. A significant portion of the collection consists of photographs of the Crockett family at their home in Las Vegas, at various events, and on family vacations. The collection contains photographs and documents from Hidden Well Ranch, a private resort located south of the airport, and the Crockett family’s Lazy Flying C Ranch on Bermuda Road. Also included in the collection are audiovisual materials depicting events and locations around Las Vegas, including Fremont Street, Hoover Dam, the Miss Rodeo America pageant, and the Sahara Cup boat races on Lake Mead.

The Kitty Rodman Collection on Sierra Construction Corporation (1987-2014) consists of one photograph album documenting the construction of the Mirage Hotel & Casino by Sierra Construction Corporation, and a binder containing photocopied documents and photographs providing a narrative of Kitty Rodman's life and career in Las Vegas as director of the corporation and as a noted philanthropist. Also included in the binder is a list of projects by Sierra Construction Corporation up to 1992, which contains construction dates and additional information such as project supervisor names.

The Robert H. Crabtree papers (1920-1999) sub-series contains an extensive account of Crabtree's career as a professor and archaeologist. Materials includes correspondence, photographic prints and negatives, reports, and notes of archeological surveys and excavations done in Southern California, Southern Nevada, Washington, Oregon, and Mexico. Collection includes resources such as field catalogs, proposals, newsletters, annual reports, workflow documentation, conference materials, and meeting minutes from various archaeological and anthropological societies and organizations. The subseries also includes class notes, dissertation drafts, and manuscripts used by Crabtree during his academic career. Digital files include field notes and reports.
Archival Component
The Daughters of Union Veterans (DUV) of the Civil War, Las Vegas, Nevada Records comprise various materials from the organization ranging from the years 1861 to 1970, with a bulk of the material dating from 1948 to 1954. The contents consist of a scrapbook of memorabilia and newspaper clippings, magazine articles profiling the Grand Army of the Republic, reissues of Harper’s Weekly from 1861, and the correspondence and ephemera of Henrietta Denny.

The Nancy Austin Papers (1966-1978) consist of newspaper clippings and photographs documenting the career of Las Vegas, Nevada entertainer Nancy Austin. The photographs document Austin’s entertainment career as well as other business ventures, including her own clothing line for plus-size women, called Pudgy Playmates.
