The Junior League of Las Vegas Records (1940-2023) contain annual reports, fundraising information, training manuals, articles, minutes, photographs, scrapbooks, cookbooks, and other operational and working files that document the activities of the Junior League of Las Vegas (JLLV). Also included is documentation for advocacy projects the JLLV was involved with, such as Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.), Safe Haven, the Ronald McDonald House, Read Aloud, and Literature Awareness Program for Children. Other records in this collection document JLLV's fundraising efforts such as the Repeat Boutique, Holiday Coffees, annual benefits, luncheons, and sales of their cookbooks. Oral history interview with José Luis Gutiérrez conducted by Maribel Estrada Calderón and Barbara Tabach on October 1, 2018 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. Also present during this interview is José's close friend Sergio Salgado, who was interviewed separately for the Latinx Voices project in 2018. José discusses his early life growing up in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, and his migration to Tijuana and then Santa Barbara, California as a teenager. He talks about his restaurant employment history both in California and in Las Vegas, including his time working at the Jolly Parrot, the Dunes Hotel and Casino, and his own eatery: Tortilleria Los Arcos. On February 25 1979, collector, Carol A. Semendoff interviewed cashier, Marguerite Goldstein, (born on May 1925 in Oberlin, Kansas) in the library at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This interview covers early Las Vegas, from 1950 to 1979. Also included during this interview is discussion on local dignitaries, the growth of Las Vegas, gambling as the major industry in Las Vegas, Strip hotels, and housing developments.

Chabad of Red Rock is the 8th Chabad Center to have been established in the Greater Valley Area. It was hosted its first program, a Chanukah party, in December of 2015. Like many Chabad Centers around the world, it began as a living room operation, to be developed into a community literally one person at a time.
Congregation Ner Tamid is the second oldest Jewish synagogue in the Las Vegas Valley, Nevada, founded in 1974. It is the largest Reform synagogue in Nevada, and has been led by Rabbi Sanford Akselrad since 1988. Ner Tamid is home to the Gary and Lynn Kantor Early Childhood Education Center and the Mark L. Fine Judaica gift shop. It offers youth and adult education, as well as a Men’s Club, Sisterhood, and other social groups. In 2015, more than 600 families were members of Ner Tamid, and the congregation offered over 200 programs and activities in the course of a year.
