Gang, Leonard

Leonard Gang was born in New York in 1935. Leonard graduated New York University School of Law in 1961. He moved to Las Vegas to clerk with the Nevada Supreme Court. Both Len and his wife Bobbie grew up with Jewish traditions in New York and became members of Temple Beth Sholom upon moving to Las Vegas. Len is a Navy veteran, former Deputy District Attorney (1965-1966), District Court Judge, Clark County (1971-1974), accomplished criminal and civil litigator.

Wojciechowski, Marian

Marian Wojciechowski was born April 25, 1914 in a region called Poland just as World War I was beginning. He grew up there when the country did not technically exist, and their language was forbidden. By the 1930s and the dawning of World War II, Wojciechowski was a young man struggling to understand what was transpiring, but knowing that he must participate in the Polish underground resistance against the Germans.

Catlett, Walter, 1889-1960

Walter Leland Catlett was born to a locally prominent San Francisco, California family in 1889. He won his first stage role as a thirteen year-old in a comedic opera; this early stage career lasted over twenty years. He moved to Hollywood in the early 1920s to make films and by 1930 was in demand as a character actor. After a foray behind the camera, directing a series of comedy shorts for RKO, Catlett returned to acting. His film career spanned another thirty years and 163 films. Catlett died in 1960.
