Oral history interview with Regina Cone, Lotea Cone, and Maurice Cone conducted by Claytee D. White on March 01, 2018 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: A Collaborative Oral History Project. In this interview, Lotea discusses her upbringing in Fordyce, Arkansas and moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1953. She remembers the Westside during the late 1950s and discusses businesses in that area. Maurice talks about growing up in the Westside, the increase of organized crime, and attending Rancho High School. Lastly, Lotea and Maurice recall segregation in Las Vegas and changes in the Westside community. Regina is the daughter of Lotea and briefly participates in the interview.

The Las Vegas, Nevada Anti-Gay Counter-Protest Collection (2001) documents the counter-protests against supporters of Reverend Fred Phelps of the Westboro Baptist Church at their anti-homosexual demonstrations. The counter-protests were held at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus and the Liberace Museum on March 10, 2001. Materials in this collection included a typed excerpt from the journal of Dennis McBride recounting his experiences on the day of the protest. Also included are photographic prints of counter-protestor Joshua Dart at the demonstration, a poster from the demonstration, correspondence between McBride and Dart, and an issue of the Rebel Yell featuring a front page article about the demonstration.

Oral history interview with Dr. Vincent Richardson conducted by Claytee D. White on October 12, 2021 for African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project.

Vincent Richardson talks about his childhood growing up with his grandparents in Windsor Park. He reminisces about the community, his grandmother's cooking, and his house that had fantastic views of the Las Vegas Strip. Vincent also recalls when homes in Windsor Park began sinking, and how he and other neighbors were forced to react to their unsustainable building environments. Vincent discusses earning his PhD from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and his employment history working as an Administrative Coordinator for the Clark County School District and an educator for the College of Southern Nevada.

Madeleine Bradley and her son Will discuss their familial ties to Henry Benjamin Cave, a Confederate soldier, by his widow Daisy Cave. Madeleine and Will talk about the Civil War, life in South Carolina compared to Nevada, and Will's occupation as a pilot. Will also shares his experiences with the military and serving during Operation Desert Storm.

Oral history interview with Edwina and Johnnie E. Richardson Jr. conducted by Claytee D. White on September 29, 2021 for African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project.

Johnnie and Edwina Richardson share their story of meeting in Las Vegas, falling in love, and operating the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church originally established by Johnnie's father. The couple talk about their previous employment in the gaming industry before working full time with the church and their various responsibilities and outreach efforts within the community. Johnnie and Edwina also discuss Windsor Park and the circumstances of saving their home when houses in the neighborhood began sinking, as well as the impacts they saw on other families who weren't so lucky.
