Collection is comprised of materials dating from approximately 1971 to 1996 about the Las Vegas Clark County Library District. Collection materials also include Charles Hunsberger's subject files from when he was library director of LVCCLD. The collection includes annual financial reports, clippings about the library district, photographs, master plan documents for Nevada libraries, and staff newsletters. In addition, the collection also includes materials documenting Hunsberger's efforts to secure a $22.2 million library bond in 1985.

The Elmo and Charlotte Ellsworth Papers (1948-1977) are comprised of business correspondence, room reservation records, promotional materials, and photographs from Elmo's employment at the Flamingo and Riviera Hotels in his work of securing conventions. There is also correspondence and promotional materials from his wife Charlotte Ellsworth, who worked as a reservations manager at the Riviera Hotel and the Frontier Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada and the MGM Grand Hotel in Reno, Nevada.

The Elaine McNamara Papers span from approximately the 1960s to the 1990s and include brochures, photographs, clippings, and other information detailing McNamara's modeling and real estate careers. Collection includes information about the Las Vegas-Clark County board of trustees, which McNamara served on, and materials documenting the library bond issue from the mid-1980s.

The Johnny Pate music scores and music manuscripts (1950-1998) consist solely of music manuscripts and original music scores written by Pate.

The Benedict Family Papers materials date from roughly 1905-1998 and are comprised of correspondence and letters (1969-1971) written to Howard Hughes by the public. The collection also contains correspondence written to Robert Maheu, former chief executive of Nevada operations for Howard Hughes. The collection also includes a variety of casino and gambling related product catalogs, gaming guides for Las Vegas casinos, and of research papers and reports primarily relating to sports betting and cheating.

The Mountain West's Yucca Mountain Socioeconomic Project Records (1987-1994) contain reports on the effects to indigenous peoples, flora and fauna, and transportation relating to the deposits of nuclear waste in Yucca Mountain, Nevada. Mountain West studied were Nye, Lincoln, Esmeralda, and Clark counties. Also included are analysis and impact assessments, and an oral history of Ed Slavin, a Tonopah, Nevada resident.

The Marshall L. Wright Collection on the Riviera Hotel (1944-1956) consists of a disassembled scrapbook, a small amount of newspaper clippings, and correspondence from Marshall L. Wright. He served as the general manager of the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada beginning in 1954 and remained in the role through the hotel’s opening on April 20, 1955. By late 1955, he moved to a similar role at the Flamingo Las Vegas. Materials document the opening of the Riviera including black-and-white photographs of the construction of the hotel, press kits, brochures, and other promotional material. The collection includes a small amount of promotional material from the Flamingo.

This collection is comprised of newsletters of The Wolf of Pace e Bene from 1991 to 2004. Published in Las Vegas, Nevada by Franciscan Friars, the newsletter is dedicated to the service of nonviolence.

The Jackie Boor Logan Papers (1833-2011) contain articles, correspondence, copies of photographs, newspaper clippings, and other genealogical information on the Logan family. The bulk of the material begins with the shooting death of Tonopah, Nevada Sheriff Tom Logan in 1906.
