Oral history interviews with Lloyd George conducted by Claytee D. White on June 15 and 28, 2005 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In the first interview, George discusses being a lawyer in Las Vegas, Nevada and Chief Judge of the Nevada District Court, as well as having The Lloyd D. George United States Courthouse in Las Vegas named after him. In the second interview, he talks about growing up in Las Vegas, his education, favorite teachers, and early jobs as a schoolboy, his experiences in Wisconsin and Illinois as a Mormon missionary, and his college education at Brigham Young University. He continues discussing the history of Las Vegas, and his desire to pursue a career in law. He also discusses a great many notable individuals in the state.

Oral history interview with Hazel Geran conducted by Claytee D. White on August 30, 2000 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Geran gives insights into the black experience in Las Vegas, Nevada. Geran describes her perspective of living on the Westside and the businesses that thrived there in the past, and why she remained in west Las Vegas. She also gives a peek into her family life including Catholic schools, family outings and an insightful story regarding racism and the difficulty of getting a housing loan in the 1950s.

Oral history interview with Darwin Gidel conducted by Claytee D. White on October 21, 2009 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Gidel discusses being a flight engineer in the Air Force during World War II. He describes when he was shot down over Belgium in 1944 and was held as prisoner of war in Belgium and Germany for eleven months. He also discusses being an accountant.

Oral history interview with Reva Giles conducted by Claytee D. White on July 17, 2006 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. Giles discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1958, then recalls living on Decatur and the military housing at Nellis Air Force Base. She then discusses moving from Las Vegas to Okinawa, Japan for four years with her husband, and upon his retirement from the military, moving back to Las Vegas in 1964. She also discusses working in various offices at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), retiring and volunteering as an office aide to the UNLV athletic director.

Oral history interview with Joseph George conducted by Emily Powers on April 08, 2008 for the Heart to Heart Oral History Project. In this interview Dr. Joseph George discuses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada. He then talks about when he opened his family practice, delivering over 6,000 babies at various hospitals in the Las Vegas Valley, and on the changes he has seen in the medical industry.

Oral history interview with Leonard E. Goodall conducted by David Emerson on March 28, 2006 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. In this interview Leonard Goodall discusses accepting a position as president of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1979. He then talks about how he oversaw the development of the College of Engineering, helped create the UNLV Foundation, and appointed a number of people to administrative positions in the university.

Oral history interview with Mike and Sallie Gordon conducted by Adrianne Massa on March 02, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview Mike and Sallie Gordon talk about being some of the first Jewish people to come to Las Vegas, Nevada when they moved to the city on January 26, 1932. They also discuss being involved members of a group of Jewish pioneers and being founding members of the Temple Beth Sholom, Las Vegas's first synagogue. They also discuss the growth and changes of the valley between the early 1930s and mid-1970s.
