Oral history interview with Jose Luis Vinas conducted by Nancy Hardy on May 27, 2003 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Vinas begins by describing his upbringing in Spain and his early interest in art. He discusses studying art and fashion design under his aunt, and later becoming a costume designer for stage shows in Paris, France. Vinas then describes moving to the United States to design costumes for the Casino de Paris and Vives Les Girls shows at the Dunes Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada during the 1960s and 1970s. Vinas talks about his experiences in show business and prominent people he has worked with, most notably Frederic Apcar, on productions over the years.

The Woodrow Wilson Photograph Collection consists of black-and-white photographic prints and negatives. The images depict black elected government leaders attending the first Conference of Black Elected Officials held in Washington, D.C. in September 1969. Of particular interest are images of Nevada's first black state legislator, Woodrow Wilson; Georgia state representative, Julian Bond; and President Richard Nixon.

Oral history interview with Kit Waldman conducted by Claytee D. White on October 09, 2000 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Waldman begins by describing her early life in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania during the Great Depression, which forced her family to move to Las Vegas, Nevada due to financial reasons. She discusses life in Las Vegas during the 1930s and 1940s and how the city has changed since then. Waldman also talks about her career working as an assistant at her brother's law firm and being a member in the Jewish community of Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Barbara and David Lowe conducted by Claytee D. White on December 08, 2015 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. David Lowe begins the interview by discussing his family history, how they came to own a hotel in Goodsprings, Nevada, and life in the town during the early twentieth century. Barbara Lowe then describes her upbringing in San Francisco, California before moving with her family to Hawthorne, Nevada. She also discusses race relations there and in other Nevada and California towns. David Lowe then talks about his mother, Celeste Lowe, who became a writer and was later hired by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where she worked in Special Collections at the James R. Dickinson Library. David continues, talking about his career in journalism, working at the Nevada Test Site, and the university hospital. They also discuss the controversy surrounding the UNLV mascot and the cultural differences between Northern and Southern Nevada.

Oral history interview with Cathy Scott conducted by Dennis McBride on December 12, 2006 for the Las Vegas Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Archives Oral History Project. In this interview, Scott discusses reporting about the murder of Roger Jameson, a gay man who was found dead outside of a gay bar in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 25, 1995. Scott describes the scene upon her arrival and her initial reactions to the homicide. She talks about the issue of homophobia in Las Vegas at the time and explains that other newspaper publications would not want to cover this story because this was not seen as a serious issue. Lastly, Scott talks about the double life that Jameson lived and how the public reacted to his story.
