Brendan discusses his background growing up in communist Vietnam in the early 1970s and fleeing with his family as refugees; they immigrated to Hong Kong, China before moving to the United States to live briefly in North Carolina before settling in California. Brendan talks about working at a young age picking fruit, working in catering, and having positions in retail before pursuing higher education and studying pharmaceuticals. He shares stories of his work experience with Walgreens and how this led to him opening a pharmacy with his brother, which they've managed together for the past 18 years.

Oral history interview with Kochy Tang conducted by Kristel Peralta, Vanessa Concepcion, and Stefani Evans on May 26, 2021 for Reflections: The Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project.

Kochy gives a family history of her parents and how they both came to practice medicine; her father served in a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital during the Korean War and later practiced alternative medicine alongside Kochy's mother in San Francisco and Reno. Kochy shares her educational and employment path pursuing osteopathic medicine and how, with the help of Tony Marnell, she was able to open her pratice within the M Resort and Casino. She discusses her work as a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) and the relationships she has built within the Las Vegas medical community.

Oral history interview with Gloria E. Hernandez conducted by Nathalie Martinez, Maribel Estrada Calderon, and Rodrigo Vazquez on December 07, 2018 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. Gloria E. Hernandez starts the interview by recalling her childhood and early years in Jalisco, Mexico. Hernandez relates her experiences during her immigration to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1987. Hernandez discusses her career and her first job in the hospitality industry at the Frontier Hotel and Casino. Gloria shares her role in the longest labor strike in United States history while she was working at the Frontier. Gloria talks about her membership and involvement in the Culinary Workers Union Local 226, primarily talking about her role as a union organizer.

Oral history interview with Virginia Mendoza conducted by Marcela Rodriguez-Campo on December 6, 2018 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada oral history project. In this interview, Mendoza recalls her childhood and early years in Michoacán, Mexico. She shares the story of her immigration to the United States, detailing the harsh conditions she and her daughter encountered crossing the board at Tijuana, Mexico. Mendoza shares what it was like to live in California before she traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada to reunite with her husband in 1989. In 1990, she joined the hospitality industry and began working for Fitzgerald's Hotel and Casino and recalls her experiences working in Las Vegas. She details why she joined the Culinary Workers Union Local #226 and the importance of her job as an organizer, particularly as a bilingual individual.

Oral history interview with Dr. Claude N. Warren conducted by Claytee D. White on March 1, 2007 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. In this interview, Warren discusses his early life in Washington state and some of the hardships his family encountered. Warren then talks about the city of Seattle, Washington and he expresses his general admiration for the western United States. He speaks about his time as a graduate student and working at University of California, Los Angeles. He then explains the different types of archaeology, including cultural resource management and academic archaeology. Warren then describes his career path, different academic positions he was offered, and his time as a professor in the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Anthropology Department. Lastly, Warren briefly discusses UNLV past presidents Zoran and Maxson and his thoughts about the future of the university.

Roundtable discussion with University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) engineers Ramon Martinez, Richard Wyman, Herbert C. Wells, and Robert Skaggs conducted by Dave Emerson on May 6, 2006 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. In this discussion, the engineers talked about how they joined UNLV and pursued careers in their respective fields of engineering. They also discussed the creation and development of engineering courses at UNLV, Geological Engineering and Dynamics. Martinez, Wyman, Wells, and Skaggs also detail their individual undergraduate education at different colleges before coming to UNLV.
