The Beda and C. Norman Cornwall Photograph Collection (1940s-1978) primarily contains black-and-white photographic prints of Beda and C. Norman engaging in various civic activities. The collection also includes photographic prints of Beda Cornwall’s reception at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, as well as C. Norman Cornwall’s riding group, the Los Rancheros Visitadores, during their trek through the Santa Ynez Valley in California. Beda Cornwall was the president of the Citizens’ Library Association of Las Vegas and C. Norman Cornwall was a prominent Las Vegas attorney.

The Arturo Amaya Papers (1994-2017) are comprised of photographs and periodicals representing Amaya's involvement with the Latinx community in Las Vegas, Nevada. In particular, the photographs document activities of the Las Vegas Peruvian Cultural Heritage Association that Amaya founded. The collection includes issues of local magazines Amaya was involved with as a creator, publisher, and writer including: El Heraldo Latino, Lesgabit, and Ultimahora. Photographs in this collection document activities of the Las Vegas Peruvian Cultural Heritage Association, parades at Las Vegas Centennial Park, activities at the East Las Vegas Community Center, anniversaries of the Independence of Peru celebrated at Sunset Park and on Fremont Street, and the International Food Folklife Festival for Clark County. An audio disc in this collection, La Mensajera del Folclor Peruano, consists of twelve tracks of Peruvian folklore stories sung by Zoraya de los Andes.

The Maria and Pedro Ortiz Family Papers (approximately 1950-2024) contain documents, photographs, and oral histories that document the Ortiz family's experience as a migrant family living in Southern Nevada. The photographs depict family gatherings, celebrations, work life as migrant farm laborers, and the Moapa Valley region of Nevada. The papers included in the collection include earning statements and pay stubs for Pedro Ortiz Sr., letters of recommendation from the family's employer (Paul and Mitzi Ozaki), correspondence, and funeral programs and prayer cards for various family members and community members. Oral history interviews with Ortiz family members document their experiences growing up in a family of migrant farm workers, living in Logandale, Nevada, and being a part of the Latino community in Southern Nevada.

Oral history interview with Kathleen Cortez, Delores "Dee" Gammell, Kelli Hansen, and Sallie Samis conducted by Jerwin Tiu and Stefani Evans on January 26, 2024 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, three sisters of seven siblings, Delores "Dee" Gammell, Sallie Samis, and Kathleen "Kathy" Cortez, describe their beginnings in early Las Vegas alongside Dee's daughter, Kelli Hansen. This six generation family of Las Vegas natives trace their roots to Mexico and Delores, Sallie, and Kathleen all recall their childhood spent with family. Each sister eventually ended up leaving Las Vegas. However, each sister ended up returning to Las Vegas and settling in the city where they grew up. While they have their qualms about the city and it is different from when they were growing up, they savor the time they are able to enjoy as a family in the place where they all started.

The Hank deLespinasse Photographs (approximately 1960-2002) contain the professional work of Hank deLespinasse while working in Las Vegas, Nevada. The photographs document a variety of events in the region. DeLespinasse photographed for Sports Illustrated and covered regional news events for TIME, Newsweek, and other local, national, and international publications. The collection contains 35mm, 120mm, and 4x5 film, slides, and contact sheets. Assignment numbers (also referred to as set numbers) are included when provided. Some assignment folders also contain contracts, newspaper clippings, and shoot-specific notes taken by deLespinasse.

Erica Mosca Papers (approximately 1986-2023) contain photographs, memorabilia, and training materials documenting Nevada State Assemblywoman Erica V. Mosca's early childhood, education, and political career. Photographs document Mosca's early education and her graduation from Boston University, her teaching career as a 5th grade teacher for Goldfarb Elementary School in Las Vegas, Nevada, and her activities as founder and executive director of the "Leaders in Training" nonprofit organization. Other materials in this collection include photographs of Mosca with her family and friends during the opening day 82nd session of the Nevada State Assembly and some memorabilia and training materials pertaining to the legislative session.

Oral history interview with Rosenda Gomez conducted by Stefani Evans on July 24, 2024 for Reflections: the Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. In this interview, Gomez describes her childhood and youth in General Luna, Surigao del Norte, Philippines. She shares about her family's financial struggles, becoming pen pals and eventually marrying an older American man, moving to Texas, and having a daughter. Desparate to leave an abusive marriage, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1993 and worked at the El Cortez making change. After working in a number of casinos, including Imperial Palace, Stratosphere, and Sunset Station, she returned to El Cortez in 1998. Gomez describes how she later became more involved in the Culinary Workers Union (Local 226). In this interview, Gomez describes the physical work of cocktail service; the duties of shop steward and the benefits of Union membership. She recalls San Tomas celebrations in her town and annual Philippines Independence Day celebrations at home; her favorite Filipino foods, and Spring Mountain Road as it was when she arrived in 1993. She also recalls anecdotes of Jackie Gaughan, owner of the El Cortez.
