UNLV Libraries Collection on the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe
The UNLV Libraries Collection on the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe (approximately 1974-1990) contain oral history transcripts of Paiute community members from approximately 1974 to 1977 and reproductions of Bureau of Indian Affairs correspondence, legal documents, annual reports, and census information regarding the area formerly known as the Las Vegas Indian Colony located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The documents contain information about the original transfer of property ownership from Helen J. Stewart to the United States, who acted on behalf of the Paiute people in 1911, the establishment of the original site location, and annual reports which include a narrative about the community, census information, and health reports of the population living in the area. The collection contains no original documents.

The UNLV Libraries Collection of Sam’s Town Promotional and Publicity Materials includes press kits, press releases, promotional materials, and newspaper and magazine clippings for Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Tunica, Mississippi, and Sam’s Town Gold River in Laughlin, Nevada, dating from 1979 to 2006.

Bohn-Bettoni Menu Collection
The Bohn-Bettoni Menu Collection contains menus dating from 1854 to 1939 from restaurants around the world that were collected by Henry J. Bohn, including a large number of international menus gathered into a single scrapbook by Henri Bettoni, manager of the Globe Restaurant in London, England. The collection contains menus from hotel restaurants located primarily on the eastern coast of the United States, but also contains menus from Western states such as Montana, Colorado, Washington, and California. Stretching well in the first three decades of the 20th century, the menus in the Bohn-Bettoni collection showcase the evolving nature of American and European cuisine.

Kenny Kerr Papers
The Kenny Kerr Papers (approximately 1973-2013) contain audiovisual materials, photographs, newspaper clippings, and ephemera that document the career of Las Vegas, Nevada female impersonator Kenny Kerr. The majority of the collection includes recordings of Kerr's performances, including his impersonation revue show

Harmon Family Photograph Collection
The Harmon Family Photograph Collection contains black-and-white and color photographic prints, negatives, postcards, and slides of the Harmon family in Las Vegas and Boulder City, Nevada between approximately 1900 and 1983. Las Vegas photographs depict the Harmon family in their home, at a ranch, and at Las Vegas High School. Boulder City photographs include a wedding and a view of Black Canyon, Nevada. Lastly, the collection also includes photographs of the Harmon family with various people, including the Wengert family and Howard Cannon, at receptions, ceremonies, and posing in front of Las Vegas buildings.

Rocio Rodríguez-Martinez oral history interview: transcript
Oral history interview with Rocio Rodríguez-Martinez conducted by Elsa Lopez and Monserrath Hernández on June 21, 2019 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. Rocio shares her personal history growing up in Bogotá, Colombia and how she immigrated to the United States. She talks about motherhood, her Latina identity, and her experiences raising her daughter in Los Angeles and Las Vegas with her husband. Rocio also discusses her employment history and how she was able to achieve her professional goals of becoming a Spanish and English teacher for the Clark County School District (CCSD)'s Family and Community Engagement Services (FACES) program. Oral history interview with Eric Mendoza conducted by Holly O'Donnell on November 29, 2021 for Reflections: The Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. In this interview, Eric Mendoza shares his family's chain migration history from Manila, Philippines to the United States and his difficult immigration and naturalization process once arriving in America in 1996. He talks about what brought him to live in Las Vegas, Nevada, his education and professional pursuits, what his life is like in the United States compared to that of the Philippines, and the lives of his eight siblings. Eric Mendoza discusses the historical past of the Philippines, the infrastructure in place there, and government corruption. He also speaks to Filipino traditions and festivals, food and customs, his cultural identity, and assimilating to American culture.

Oral history interview with Angela Castro conducted by Stefani Evans, Cecilia Winchell, Kristel Peralta, Vanessa Concepcion, and Ayrton Yamaguchi on November 05, 2020 for the Reflections: The Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. Castro begins the interview by talking about her early life, childhood, what Guam was like, and the history of her parents and grandparents. She describes the difference in public and private education in Guam and compares it to the United States. She explains the reason why she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1998 and attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for public relations. Castro then talks about the differences between older and newer generations, the political atmosphere in Guam, and the differences between the United States and Guam in politics. She also talks about the discrimination she has experienced throughout her life and diversity in the workplace. Lastly, she describes her culture and traditions during holidays, the struggles with an absence of culture within her family, and her personal religious beliefs.
