Corinne Sidney shares the details of her early career, her move to Las Vegas, and her relationship with Jack Entratter. She talks about becoming a Copa Girl at the Sands Hotel and what life was like after Jack's death in 1971. Corinne shares stories of entertainers she knew, including Frank Sinatra and Antonio Morelli, but the focus of the discussion is about Jack, their "on-again-off-again" relationship, and his talent and influence in Las Vegas.

Abstract

The Arthur H. Wolf Photographs of the Women’s March and March for Science collection is comprised of digital photographs taken by Arthur H. Wolf using his iPhone of two protests that took place in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2017. The first set of photographs were taken during the Women’s March in downtown Las Vegas on January 21, 2017. The second set of photographs were taken during the March for Science on April 22, 2017. Accompanying each set of photographs is a document with Wolf’s notes explaining the purpose of the events and describing his experience attending them. The collection also includes a handmade sign "Change gun laws or change Congress" carried by Wolf during the protests.

Hooper, Robert Scott

Robert Scott Hooper, was an artist and photographer based in Las Vegas, Nevada who photographed diverse subjects over many decades. His work has been seen on the pages of newspapers and magazines worldwide, from Life to the cover of Playboy; featured on billboards, posters, postcards, phone cards and video game machines; and exhibited in galleries and private collections. He won numerous awards for his creations in graphic arts, commercial television production, advertising, print work, and even photographing a centerfold for Playboy.
