The UNLV University Libraries Photographs of the Jewish Community of Southern Nevada (2015-2018) are comprised of digital images captured as part of the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. The photographs include members of the Southern Nevada Jewish community, synagogues Temple Beth Sholom (current and original site), Congregation Ner Tamid (including aerials), Chabad of Las Vegas, Temple Sinai, and Midbar Kodesh Temple. There are also photographs of The Desert Torah Academy's Robert Cohen Educational Campus, the future site of Chabad of Green Valley, the Holocaust Resource Center, Manpower Las Vegas’s 50th anniversary celebration, and the House of Straus.

The Doris Hancock Papers (1895-1987) consist of school memorabilia, correspondence, sketches, two scrapbooks, and material from her involvement in the Las Vegas Art League. Also included are materials about Southern Nevada and surrounding areas, particularly mining towns, Colorado River, Boulder Dam, Red Rock Canyon, early Las Vegas, and Death Valley.

Oral history interview with Marshall Mack Dawson conducted by Robert Mackie on November 01, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Dawson first discusses his early education, his family, and the Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort. He then describes the changes he has noticed over time, atomic testing, the Helldorado parades, Red Rock, the development of the Strip, and changes in the Downtown Las Vegas area. Dawson also discusses some of his work for Nevada Power, early movie theaters in Las Vegas, Nevada, and various other topics.

Chabad of Southern Nevada was established in 1990 by Rabbi Shea Harlig and his wife Dina Harlig. It is an outpost of the worldwide Chabad-Lubavitch organization that provides social services and educational programs for members of the Jewish community. Chabad of Southern Nevada is headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada and has six affiliated centers: Chabad of Summerlin, Chabad of Green Valley, Chabad of East-Or Bamidbar, Chabad of Southwest, Chabad Hebrew Center, and Chabad Student Services at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
