The Arthur and Joe Lyon Papers (1930-1935, 1985, 2020) document the first transnational automobile trip taken from North America to Central America in 1930 by Arthur and Joe Lyon, two brothers from McDermitt, Nevada. The materials in this collection include Arthur and Joe Lyon's passports with stamps from their trip and their travel scrapbook. Materials also include the brothers' handwritten notes about their trip from the 1930s and original typescript for
Archival Collection
Hazel Baker Denton Papers (1907-1957) contain correspondence, family artifacts, scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, and family biographical information. Included are journals that chronicle the years Denton served as an Assemblywoman for the Nevada State Legislature and a copy of her book, Ironing Day, her newspaper columns, and speeches.

The Southern Nevada Chapter of the American War Mothers Organization Records (1947-1995) are comprised primarily of scrapbooks containing correspondence and minutes, numerous newspaper clippings, and photographs. Also included are pamphlets on American War Mothers organizational rituals, bylaws, history, ceremonial ephemera, flags, and a Henderson Chapter Charter. The materials also contain items relating to the North Las Vegas Chapter, the Rose Garden Chapter, and the State Chapter.

The Mildred Mann Papers (1915-1995) contain documents related to her involvement in teaching ceramics and her work with the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Included are correspondence, newspaper clippings, magazines, certificates, childhood school materials, manuals, photographs, a scrapbook, and newsletters. There are also Clark County Community College (CCCC) class schedules, real estate papers, and membership lists.
